Al Pacino & Robert De Niro on “The Irishman”

Awesome to see these two sharing the big screen, once again, depends on how big is your TV. Netflix has given Martin Scorsese the green light to start production, as soon as August of 2017, of “The Irishman”.

The film is based on Charles Brandt’ 2003 book, I Heard You Paint Houses”, a perspective of WWII veteran, Frank Sheeran, whose postwar activities included a stint as a hitman.

Sources says the film is aimed for a 2019 released on the Netflix platform

Robert De Niro, plays Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, a mob hitman who according to the story, was involved in the death of Jimmy Hoffa. De Niro will be made to look around 30 years old in the film.
